Die Laufzeit “t” eines Produktionssystems zwischen zwei Ausfällen ist eine Zufallsvariable und folgt einer Laufzeitverteilung f(t) mit monoton steigender Ausfallrate f(t)/(1-F(t)) Bei einem Ausfall des Aggregats werden durchschnittlich Ra ZE benötigt, um das ausgefallene Aggregatteil durch ein neues zu ersetzen.
