Zusammenfassung
EU-Lobbying als Forschungsobjekt wird häufig mithilfe eines tauschtheoretischen Ansatzes beleuchtet. Die Berechtigung dieses vorherrschenden Ansatzes zu erklären und darüber hinaus mit praktischen Überlegungen zum Mehrwert von Lobbying zu verbinden ist Gegenstand des einleitenden Kapitels. Dargelegt wird zunächst, worum es beim Tauschansatz geht, wie er sich durch die Literatur zieht, und welche Anwendung er im heutigen Stand der Forschung findet – um anschließend die Praxistauglichkeit des Ansatzes zu überprüfen. Der zweite Teil des Kapitels beschäftigt sich damit, was der Praxisalltag eines Lobbyisten birgt, welcher Mehrwert daraus entsteht, wer daraus einen Nutzen ziehen kann.
