Zusammenfassung
Begabung ist notwendig, aber nicht hinreichend für Erfolg und sehr gute Leistungen. Man muss nicht gleich in den Behaviorismus der 1970er Jahre zurückzufallen, aber die Dominanz des Fleißes für den Erfolg lässt sich nicht leugnen. Weit interessanter noch als die Frage nach „Nature vs. Nurture“ ist die Frage, woher dieser Fleiß, der unbändige Wille, das hohe Ausmaß an jahrzehntelangem Interesse für eine Sache oder eine Tätigkeit kommt.
