Zusammenfassung
Im aktuellen wissenschaftlichen und gesellschaftspolitischen Diskurs über Nanopartikel in der wässrigen Umwelt fällt auf, dass es eine teilweise erbitterte Diskussion um Begriffsdefinitionen gibt und dass viele Begriffe nicht korrekt gebraucht werden. In diesem Zusammenhang ist zunächst die häufig synonyme Verwendung von Nanopartikel und Kolloid zu nennen.
