Zusammenfassung
Gesundheitsbezogene Krisen wie die H1N1-Pandemie sind unvorhergesehene Ereignisse, die die Akteure der Gesundheitskommunikation vor Herausforderungen stellen. Das Feld der Krisenkommunikation analysiert in diesem Zusammenhang Handlungen, die das Ziel haben, die Situation zu bewältigen, die Bevölkerung angemessen zu informieren und die Reputation der eigenen Organisation zu schützen. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt grundlegende Modelle der Krisenkommunikation und empirische Befunde aus dem Gesundheitsbereich, um auf dieser Basis evidenzbasierte Handlungsempfehlungen abzuleiten.
