Zusammenfassung

Im Kontext gesellschaftlicher Wandlungsprozesse, die von Komplexität, Krisen und Umbrüchen geprägt sind, nimmt die Bedeutung regionaler zivilgesellschaftlicher Akteure zu. Zugleich haben diese Wandlungsprozesse Einfluss auf veränderte Lebenssituationen, Wertorientierungen und diese wiederum auf zivilgesellschaftliche Partizipation (Beher et al. 2000; Baur/Braun 2000). Damit einhergehend verändert sich bürgerschaftliches Engagement vom klassischen Ehrenamt hin zum „neuen Ehrenamt“ (ebd.) mit der Reziprozitätsnorm des Gebens und Nehmens.
