Gruppe der Psittakose-LGV-TRIC-Erreger (Bedsoniae, Chlamydiae)

Zusammenfassung

Die Erreger der Psittakose, des Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), des Trachoms und der Einschlußkörper-Conjunctivitis (TRIC), sind eine große Gruppe nicht beweglicher, gramnegativer, obligat intracellulärer Parasiten, die ähnlich strukturiert sind und ein gemeinsames Gruppenantigen besitzen. Die Erreger durchlaufen im Cytoplasma ihrer Wirtszellen einen besonderen Entwicklungscyclus. In dieser Gruppe befinden sich Krankheitserreger von Mensch und Tieren, die eine erhebliche medizinische Bedeutung besitzen. Im Interesse einer kurzen Darstellung wird der Begriff „Chlamydiae“ zur Bezeichnung dieser Gruppe der Psittakose-LGV-TRIC-Erreger verwendet.
