Abstract

As stated, the comparatively rapid growth of ZUSE KG was due primarily to our contract with Remington Rand Switzerland. Therefore, it was an unwelcome surprise when one day the United States put an end to our good relationship with the Swiss. ZUSE KG unexpectedly found itself in a predicament. Thereupon, both of my partners left the company — one right after the other. Eckhard went to Siemag in Eiserfeld, where he was offered a new position with a broad scope of responsibilities; Stucken went to Brazil. Their buy-out dipped deep into the assets of ZUSE KG; yet the division was fair and all were in agreement. To preserve the company’s status of a limited partnership, my wife stepped in as a limited partner.
