Abstract
Using the GPS fixed-point network data, the secular crustal motions in the Kanto-Tokai District, Central Japan, have been determining for the period of January 1995 and April 1996. Also three crustal slow events with the periods of 5–10 days are detected in the network; two events in the northeast of the Izu Peninsula on the northern tip of the Philippine Sea plate on July 1989 and October 1995 respectively associated with active seismic swarms, and an event in the Boso Peninsula, southern Kanto District, on May 1996 with the weak seismic swarm.
