Zusammenfassung

In den folgenden Ausführungen werden — soweit bekannt — Zusammenhänge zwischen der Funktion des Immunsystems und des Endokriniums bzw. der Fortpflanzungsorgane dargestellt. So unvollständig diese auch bekannt sind, so sollen sie doch anhand konkreter Beispiele die enge funktionelle Verbundenheit beider Funktionssysteme illustrieren und damit beim praktizierenden Arzt den interdisziplinären und inte-grativen Denkansatz zur Beurteilung endokriner Störungen stimulieren helfen. Zunächst soll einiges an Basisinformation über das Immunsystem vermittelt werden, bevor die Interaktion zwischen Immunsystem und Endokrinium, auch anhand von Beispielen aus der Klinik, dargestellt wird.
