Abstract
With practically oriented reader in mind, we are going to give a brief account on the structure of the rotation space Many of the terms used in this chapter are of mathematical origin and have precise definitions in topology, differential geometry, or group theory This presentation, however, is far from being rigorous The objective here is an intuitive understanding of some basic issues, and the approach is descriptive without any serious attempts to prove presented statements For details or deeper understanding the reader is referred to mathematical literature.
