Zusammenfassung

Organkonservierung ist eine notwendige Voraussetzung, um einen Organaustausch zwischen Transplantationszentren zu ermöglichen, damit Organangebot und Auswahl zu verbessern und dem Empfänger das geeignetste Transplantat anzubieten. Während für die Niere entweder durch hypotherme Lagerung oder durch maschinelle Perfusion das Problem weitgehend gelöst ist, bestehen noch Unklarheiten, über welchen Zeitraum das Pankreas erfolgreich konserviert werden kann.
