Abstract
We focus once more on the bulk diffusion step. In chapter 3 we developed digital expressions of the diffusion equation. At each time interval, we used existing, known concentration values to generate a new concentration value at each point in space, for the next point in time. The new concentration value is thus explicitly determined from other values.
