Zusammenfassung

Straftaten junger Menschen werden häufig in Gruppen begangen. Die Erscheinungsformen sind dabei sehr vielfältig. Teilweise handelt es sich nicht um größere Gruppen, sondern nur um zwei gemeinschaftlich handelnde Täter. Die Gesellung kann unterschiedlich locker oder fest sein. Sie reicht von spontanen Rudelbildungen über mehr oder weniger deviante Peer-Gruppen bis hin zu jugendlichen Banden oder Gangs mit organisierten Strukturen. Letztere können manche Merkmale der nicht mehr jugendtypischen, organisierten Kriminalität aufweisen, die allerdings selbst nicht klar definiert ist (Kaiser 1996).
