Zusammenfassung

APRV („airway pressure release ventilation“) ist ein unterstützender Beatmungsmodus. Die Spontanatmung erfolgt auf einem vorwählbaren Atemwegsdruckniveau. Dieses Druckniveau wird jedoch intermittierend für eine kurze Zeit erniedrigt („pressure release“), um die Ausatmung bzw. CO2-Elimination zu unterstützen.
