ZNS-Erkrankungen beim Erwachsenen

Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel befasst sich mit Erkrankungen des Zentralnervensystems beim Erwachsenen, die mit Muskelschwäche (Paresen), Spastik, Bewegungsstörungen oder einem verminderten Tonus der Muskulatur (Hypotonie) einhergehen. Diese klinischen Manifestationen führen häufig sekundär zu orthopädischen Komplikationen wie Gelenkschmerzen, Kontrakturen, Luxationen, Subluxationen oder Fehlstellungen. Es werden Klinik, Ursache, Pathogenese, Diagnose und Therapie des Schlaganfalls (ischämischer Insult und Hirnblutung), der Enzephalitis, des Schädel-Hirn-Traumas, primärer Hirntumoren, der Encephalomyelitis disseminata (multiple Sklerose), der Parkinson-Erkrankung und anderer extrapyramidaler Erkrankungen, der Demenz und spinaler Erkrankungen beschrieben. Die Beschreibung der wichtigsten cerebralen und spinalen Erkrankungen des Erwachsenen soll zum Verständnis der orthopädischen Implikationen beitragen.
