Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the Magnetohydrodynamic free-convective flow in a vertical channel with thermal radiation in porous medium. The Rosseland and approximation is used to describe radiative heat flux in energy equation. The channel flow is described by momentum and energy equations. The expression for temperature and velocity are obtained analytically using perturbation method. There is also remarkable influence of magnetic parameter, radiation parameter, temperature difference parameter and Prandtl number in the flow.
