Male Infertility

Abstract

Male infertility is on the rise. In the era of ICSI, it may seem superfluous that we are discussing about the clinical management of an infertile male; on the contrary though, the clinical management of an infertile male is very essential today more so than ever before. Application of the right technique for the right indication is essential for the proper surgical management of male infertility. Medical management of male infertility is frequently ill/overused, necessitating a better basic understanding of male reproduction. This chapter intends to provide the reader with a thorough update on the clinical strategies involved in managing an infertile male built on the tenets of an evidence-based practice.
