Abstract
Primary question: does the inclusion of additional outcome variables enable to make better use of predicting variables. Multivariate analysis is a method that works with more than a single outcome variable. It can assess whether a factor predicts more than a single outcome. Path statistics can be used (Chap. 3), but traditionally, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was developed for the purpose.
