Abstract

At the end of this book, I will ask to what extent all the data and concepts presented here will help us further clarify the “big question” of the mind-brain relationship in a scientific as well as philosophical context. The central question will be whether from an evolutionary perspective, a plausible naturalistic and physicalistic concept of mind and consciousness is possible.
