Ventricular tachycardias in individuals with apparently normal heart

  • Chapter
Ventricular Tachycardias

Abstract

Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is usually associated with heart disease. However, it may occur without clinically evident cardiac abnormalities, and, in this case, the benign character of this arrhythmia has been stressed, compared to VT associated with heart disease. Although clinically well known [1, 2] its pathophysiology is still not well defined. In this chapter, we’ll envisage the clinical pattern of this particular kind of VT.
