Abstract

In economics, as in many other social and physical sciences, man is confronted with complex systems, which can be researched from various perspectives. One may investigate the functions of individual parts or analyse a given structure as a whole. The science of economics exists in an inseparable symbiosis with the social and physical environment and vice versa. This fact makes any connecting links between them important.
