Abstract
Crossed aphasia in dextrals is a rare clinical entity. Due to its rarity it is difficulty to understand all the problems involved in these syndromes. The explanations for atypical hemispheric specialization and some of the peculiarities of the clinical profile of crossed aphasia are reviewed and discussed.
