Abstract

South Thames Library and Information Services (STLIS) consists of 108 library service points staffed by 270 library staff providing for the needs of over 100,000 healthcare staff serving a population of nearly 7,000,000 people within South East Britain. The mission of STLIS is to help all NHS staff make effective use of the knowledge base of healthcare, and to deliver relevant and accurate information to healthcare staff at the time of need.
