Abstract

With the increasing data operators, the existing resources and infrastructure are not able to cope up with it for mobile users. It is necessary to provide the desired data rate to the subscriber with the help of 3GPP standards. In this paper, an LTE physical layer is analyzed in MATLAB tool for the performance analysis of the same modulation scheme and channel models. Channel estimation is a fundamental piece of the receiver’s design utilized in mobile communication framework. The effect of the channel on the transmitted data/information must be estimated and assessed so as to recuperate the transmitted data/information correctly and also effectively. The results are tabulated with respect to the same modulation scheme with different SNR values.
