Abstract

The usefulness of DOPN as a modelling tool will be dictated by applications wherein such a model can be employed. The application domains that we are targetting atpresent include CAD/CAM modelling, and workflow. Since traditionally constraints have been associated with transitions in Petri net modelling, the choice that a modeller with DOPNs may be faced with, can be resolved by weighing the dependence of constraints on domain specific knowledge.
