Abstract

On September 23, 2007, the plaintiff Ms. Cynthia Fitzgerald filed a complaint (“Complaint”)1 against the defendants, Novation, LLC. (“Novation”), VHA, Inc. (“VHA”), University HealthSystem Consortium (“UHC”), and Healthcare Purchasing Partners International, LLC (“HPPI”) for action to recover damages and civil penalties on behalf of the United States of America and the State of Texas, and complainant Cynthia I. Fitzgerald.2
