Description
The New Reynell Developmental Language Scales (NRDLS) is the current edition of the Reynell Developmental Language Scales. The NRDLS is a norm-referenced assessment that measures expressive and receptive language skills in children 2–7 years of age. It contains two scales – Verbal Comprehension and Production. The Verbal Comprehension Scale measures language understanding of nouns, verbs, and prepositions. It also measures a child's ability to follow simple and complex directions and provides information on comprehension of basic inferences. The Production Scale measures spoken language in the areas of syntax, vocabulary, and content.
