Calicophoron Species

The species of this genus (C. daubneyi, C. microbothrium) are synonyms of the genus Paramphistomum . They live as other species of the genus Paramphistomum in the rumen of ruminants. Intermediate host of C. daubneyi are Galba truncatula snails in France, where in several regions prevalence rates of 10–20 % were reached.
