Industry tourism includes tourism activities at industrial sites. Industrial and mining enterprises can integrate or re-develop their resources to highlight their attraction and turn them into tourist attractions. In recent years, industrial tourism has developed rapidly in China. Several cities have successively developed effective industrial tourism products and formed numerous outstanding industrial tourism projects, including Shanghai Bao Steel, the Haier Industrial Park, and the Three Gorges Project. A new type of industrial tourism is the establishment of parks in mines after remediating the waste and highlighting the geological resources and mining activities to visitors.
