Jianjun Jiang (1957–) is a native of Ning County, Hunan Province, and is a doctor, professor, and doctoral tutor at China University of Geosciences. He has served as the deputy director of the Technology Department of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, the deputy director and director of the Department of Geological Environment of the Ministry of Land and Resources, and the director of the Department of Science and Technology and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Land and Resources. He once served as the vice chairman and secretary-general of the China Ornamental Stone Association and director at the Chinese Academy of Tourism Earth Science and Geopark Research, Geological Society of China. He actively promotes the use and conservation of geoheritage, the construction of national geoparks and mining parks, the improvement of the mining environment, and the popularisation of earth science.
