Photoelectric spectra of Pb1−x Sn x Se single crystals in comparison with PbSe and SnSe spectra

Summary

Upper-valence-band spectra have been obtained by ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy for several cubic and orthorhombic Pb1−x Sn x Se single crystals. Some electronic distribution curves—EDCs— are presented to demonstrate the shift of the valence bands with increasingx. The results are discussed in terms of band structure calculations.

Si sono ottenuti spettri delle banda di valenza superiore mediante spettroscopia a foto-emissione ultravioletta per molti cristalli singoli cubici ed ortorombici Pb1−x Sn x Se. Si presentano alcune curve di distribuzione di elettroni—EDCs—per dimostrare lo spostamento delle bande di valenza con l’aumento dix. I risultati sono discussi in termini di calcoli della struttura di banda.

Спектры верхней валентной зоны определяются с помощью ультрафиолетовой фотоэмиссионной спектроскопии для некоторых кубических и ромбических монокристаллов Pb1−x Sn x Se.
