Abstract
Problematic horse-shoe- and drop-like apatite-structures (diameter 0,15-0,20 mm) from the freshwater sediments of the Miocene from the Randecker Maar near Tübingen are newly reinvestigated. They belong to the seeds of Centrospermae, often kosmopolitean halophytes and wasteland-plants and the fossils are thought to be internal casts of the seeds.
