Abstract
Osteoma of the tongue is a rare benign tumur. Not more than 40 case of this lesion have been reported in literature. The patient was a 30 year old male who presented with a pedunculated hard mobile mass protruding from the dorsal surface of the tongue near foramen cecum. Sections showed a homogeneous bony tissue. A total excision was curative.
