Abstract
We consider mathematical models that represent the synthesis between fuzzy models and switching systems, namely fuzzy switching models. We show an application of a fuzzy switching model to solve the problem of correcting boiling data that corresponds to one of the stages in automating sugar boiling. We propose a switching law that optimizes the structure of the switching fuzzy model we use.
