Abstract

The interaction of spin-polarized cesium atoms with cesium and rubidium atoms under conditions of optical orientation of atoms is considered. On the basis of data on spin-exchange complex cross sections in the Cs–Cs and Cs–Rb systems, a calculation of a magnetic resonance frequency shift of cesium atoms in a Cs–Rb mixture, as well as comparison of the calculated values of the frequency shift with experimental data, is performed.
