Abstract

The wide range of applicability of the TSP covers in particular some problems arising in design and production of printed circuit boards and very large scale integrated circuits. In this chapter we will discuss two such applications in depth and show how the methods developed in the previous chapters can be successfully employed for practical problem solving. Results for real world data sets are presented.
