Abstract

The efforts to resolve the solar neutrino problem resulted in a considerable progress in reliability and accuracy in modelling the Sun's interior. Implications from helioseismic sounding supports the standard picture of the solar evolution. A comparison of neutrino fluxes measured in various experiments seems to rule out a non-standard solar core as the solution of the neutrino problem.
