Abstract

Arthroscopic techniques have evolved to allow both visualization and repair of far more meniscal tears than by open techniques, due to both the magnification and access to tears in the body of the meniscus. Several techniques are commonly used for meniscal repair—the so-called all-inside, the inside-out, the outside-in, and the open techniques—each of which has advantages and disadvantages.
