Abstract

Dan Durda really had to do something about his weight. So it was off to the gym, for some serious training. But it was all in a good cause, otherwise he could forget about flying an F-18. It wasn’t that Durda was too heavy – on the contrary, he was 3 kilos too light. To qualify for the ejector seat in the fighter jet, you had to weigh at least 63 kilos. Durda – 5 feet 11 in his socks and slightly built – weighed in at only 60 kilos. It was high time to build up some muscle power.
