Manual of Outpatient Cardiology

Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to familiarize practitioners with the resting imaging modalities available to assess the heart. A brief technical overview of each modality will be included, but the main focus will be on the clinical indications and implications of each test. A few “pearls” will be incorporated throughout the chapter to help orient practitioners to the cardiologist’s view of these tests.
