Abstract

The reader will certainly be impressed by the variety of reflections that Milani’s “Letter to the Military Chaplains” occasioned. The topics of these reflections vary from sexuality to the Church, from art and myth to sociology, from discussions that occur within a Christian or a European context, to others that concern the Muslim and Jewish worlds. Peace is a multifaceted value. In these writings the authors try to consider some of these faces in the context of a postcolonial world.
