Abstract
A biology practical project is a practical investigation of a defined aspect of an organism’s biology, carried out by the student, and guided by the supervisor, in a limited amount of time determined by the course being followed (for example, 60 hours in a BTEC HND/C project unit). The particular piece of biology being investigated is shown by the title of the project which also indicates the subject area, the approach, and often identifies the overall aim of the project.
