Abstract

Until recently a member of the Hill Samuel Group, whose origins go back to 1832, Hill Samuel Investment Management Group (HSIMG), of which Hill Samuel Investment Management Ltd (HSIM) is a part, is a major diversified fund management organization. Following the acquisition of Hill Samuel by TSB Group pic in 1987 HSIMG became part of one of the largest investment management operations in the UK. TSB Hill Samuel Investment Holdings Ltd, the consolidated operation, has over £17 billion under management and advice, with HSIMG alone responsible for over £14 billion. Within TSB Hill Samuel Investment Holdings Ltd, HSIMG is responsible for all segregated pension funds and major domestic and international clients.
