Abstract
In this chapter, data are presented which have been obtained from a questionnaire sent to all Trust Nurse Executives in England and Scotland, except for the 23 sites in the DoH-funded evaluation study carried out by Manchester University. While the data indicate a great deal of enthusiasm for clinical supervision, some concern must be shown by the lack of preparation and support for those involved in its implementation, a fact which will undoubtedly reflect badly in any useful evaluation exercise.
