Abstract

In this chapter we will review the area of strategic IS planning (ISP) covered in the literature. The review will be followed with an examination of the preferred approach for treating ISP as a change management issue. The chapter will then cover the various options available to handle current mainframe legacy systems, and finish with a discussion of the development of systems for cross-functional processes.
