Abstract

As we saw in the previous chapter, the preparatory work for the initial stages of the research is put into practice during the stage of data collection, which itself produces useful and relevant information. In general terms, such data will be expressed in the form of ticks, circles or other notations on response sheets, or in piles of pages full of text and other information. It is the task of the researcher to study these data and search for trends, patterns and elationships that are relevant to the research question.
