Abstract
Simple lists like those we have just considered in the previous chapter are not very common. What are more common are tables, which are an extension of lists — a list consists of single data-items, whereas a table consists of a list of groups of data-items. Alternatively, a table can be considered to consist of two or more lists in which items with the same subscript have some association.
