Abstract

It is time now to take a major step forward in graphical technology. GDI is supported on a wide range of devices and as we have seen it is quite possible to create enjoyable games with it. To really move your games into the next dimension, however, a different graphics API is required. For the next few chapters, we will look at such an API: Open Graphics Library for Embedded Systems (OpenGL ES).
