Abstract

Now it’s time to see the efforts of your labor take shape, literally. In this and the next three chapters, we’ll walk you through the process of assembling the basic framework of the 3D printer. The electronics (including the motors) will come later, but for now you’ll need to grab some basic tools such as Philips and slot screwdrivers (electric/portable versions are even better) and start putting these pieces you’ve cut and drilled together.
